Enagás Renovable has a portfolio of more than 30 specific projects in Spain in the field of renewable gases and decarbonization, which represents one of the largest European platforms in this field.

Currently, its shareholding structure is made up of

Enagás (60%),
Hy24 -a joint venture formed by Ardian and FiveT Hydrogen- (30%)
Pontegadea (5%)
Navantia -SEPI- (5%)

Main lines of business of the entity

Enagás Renovable’s activity is focused on:

– Green hydrogen projects: different types of projects depending on their main final applications (industry, mobility and blending).

– Biomethane projects: upgrading of existing biogas plants and development of integrated solutions.

Enagás Renovable already has several pioneering projects, including the start-up of the first industrial green hydrogen plant in Spain, located in Lloseta (Mallorca), and the start-up of the “UNUE” biomethane production plant in Villalonquéjar (Burgos), the latter being the first large-scale biomethane project to be carried out in Spain by a private initiative.
