Targets
The main objective of the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) is to promote the
technological development of the hydrogen energy and its use in industrial and
commercial applications, for the whole society interest, to avoid the
environmental impact and enhance the industrial improvement foreseen.
The technological fields covered by the AeH2 are, amongst others not defined
yet:

Centralized and distributed hydrogen production from fossil
fuels

Hydrogen production from other energy sources (renewable
and nuclear energies)

Hydrogen storage, transport and distribution

Use of hydrogen in combustion processes
-
Use of hydrogen in electricity production
-
Use of hydrogen in fuel cells
-
Use of fuel cells in centralized and distributed
electricity generation
-
Use of fuel cells in applications of transport, mobile and
auxiliary power systems
-
Use of hydrogen in industrial processes and facilities
-
Codes, standards and safety
For achieving such objectives , the AeH2 performs the
following activities:
-
Information and dissemination: the AeH2 promote the exchange of technical
information amongst the members, and the dissemination of technical and
institutional information to the authorities and the nation. The AeH website is
www.aeh2.org.

Representation: the AeH2 has a KEY role representing
its members as a collective, defending the common interests, and sometimes
acting as a mediator in front of organisms and authorities in some subjects
(strategies, laws, standards…). The AeH is member of the European Hydrogen
Association (EHA).

Expertise and promotion: The AeH2 can identify experts in the different
subjects, in order to establish possible agreements and collaborations. The AeH
can promote the coordination of R&D activities and projects.

Standardization: The AeH2 will collaborate with the
administration in the elaboration of codes and standards.

Education: The AeH2 will perform educational and
training activities.
